Making a movie to game tie in is a hard task, so making a game based on a TV series is an even tougher battle. With a narrative already set up and numerous episodes to draw from, you’ve got two choices, one, make a game that follows the lead character through their trials and tribulations adhering strictly to the folklore of the show, or two, make a game in that universe that is unconnected to the main narrative. Thankfully, Zootfly, the developers of Prison Break: The Conspiracy decided to go with the latter.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is the latest in a line of FPS games on the PS3, joining recent contenders Killzone 2, Modern Warfare 2 and MAG in the battle of the shooters. The first Bad Company game was well received but had some crucial flaws, so when the sequel was announced most gamers were eager to see just what had changed. Is it enough to make Bad Company 2 a classic, or will it become just another FPS?
With the release of GH Van Halen, Activision are really walking a fine line, should this game have been released as a track pack or a full standalone game? Well it was released as a standalone game; much in the same way as GH Aerosmith and GH Metallica but GH Van Halen suffers when compared to the two previous band specific releases.

One hell of a rollercoaster
Before I get started, this review is entirely spoiler free.
Wow, I’ve just finished Heavy Rain and that was one intense experience. I’ve never played anything so immersive, a game that forces you to sit at the edge of your seat and give it the attention it so rightfully deserves. A game where you consider almost every movement and environmental nuance, in case you might miss a trick. Believe me; you’ve never played anything quite like it.

Bioshock, released back in 2007, is one of my favourite games; I still have my Big Daddy figurine from the limited edition standing pride and place next to my TV. But when I heard that there was going to be a sequel I was somewhat worried about what 2K Games would deliver.
